Walk The Line

Its roughly 2am here...

Hmmm... insomnia is getting progressively worse... too much coffee?... Have I mentioned? Since starting school, lecturers have been trying to get us addicted to coffee. No BS, my Philosophy teacher has his mug in class everyday and has even created a mantra to help us to get coffee... And now... I love coffee... forgot the mantra, but been drinking everyday twice ... coffee double double ... coffee single single...

Anyway besides my caffeine fix... things have been going pretty much the same.. Spring brought false allusions of a beautiful spectrum of yellow and green but hmm its been all grey at this point.

Hmm... yes... this is sounding like that song near the end of Cruel Intentions with the lyrics.. " Coffee black and egg white" Good movie too... Speaking of movies, still haven't caught one since coming here.. but yeah now just waiting so I can watch the Watchmen(no, its not a pun. Look it up yea) which btw IGN scored it well. But then again IGN scored the Devil`s Rejects well too... Anyway the cinemas here ... different.. like... after you finish a movie you could in theory catch another movie if you wanted to. Just go to another hall since the tickets don`t have seats. Yes, I was lame enough to do that yea... Haven`t tried it here but back when I was still pledging allegiance to the Red,White & Blue every school morning. The movies? Beavis and Butthead do America and The Relic. Good times :)


life at the moment

Well decided that I'm not taking the next semester of school, just going return for the winter semester yea. It's one part so school fees will be easier for me, since I'm pouring most of my resources into another thing already.. And been brainwashed into the notion too, that nobody studies in the summer yea . So yeah... back when I first got to Sg... Well in a month, I somehow got a job at Balaclava but anyway the point being the job only gave me one day off a week. So yeah... I remember one shift where I was at the outside area and all the patrons were too drunk to order or bug us so I could just stone for awhile... And I remember looking at at Marina Square from the outside of Suntec... and thinking I should at least go there(yes this was back when that overhead bridge was still there)... and that started a train of thoughts.. of just how much of Singapore I explored since arriving... Yeah... I just felt I should have some experience to show for my friends and myself as well... Well yeah, so basically for Summer.. I plan to get the Hell around Vancouver and lookup everything. There's still lots of places that aren't just trees and hills.

Going to move soon yea... I just want heated floors and non-cold toilet seats.. argh.. every morning... I'm scrambling to find my slippers yea. As for food... I've been starting to take a serious liking to Vietnamnese food yea : ) Aww... the Viet Sub and the Pho :) Another funny thing was when I was eating at a usual place with a friend, I got to try their Jalepeno which has a reputation for one of the spiciest chillies in the West... Hahah... I can`t take spicy food but seriously .. no kick...Like ... vegetable... I mean come over to South East Asia, they would just die. (*Insert memory of CZ chalet? where I had the worst chilli ever)

Well feelings on a whole have been a state of flux.. but anyways yeah... starting to make sense of it all.. Well ... Maybe now isn`t a good time time too since it is a critical time yea... But I still feel the pull of the world too.. and yeah ... what I understand from it is, what I`ve been thinking all last year yea.. This and when I see the students in class, God.. they know what they`re doing for sure... I`m still making it up as I go along... I mean my results have been pretty good but I really hope I don`t drop the ball this time. Just feel I`m on the wrong side of 22.
