Hey hey ,
well finally onto 2009 yea : )

Well yeah, hmm lemme see.. well I'm now in school already yea . So well the experience? Hmm yeah needless to say it is very different.. I look around and there the age range in the class is staggering, there are 18 year olds from High School and then are people who are already married too. So yeah it would be pretty hard to feel too old which is definitely good for me right?

1st day didn't really make any friends, as I had realized awhile back. Every class had different people and all my classes are in classrooms , the lecturer is pretty much talking throughout the whole class so you don't really get to find out who's everyone in class. And yeah there was no orientation either, hmm well hahah only in one class of the day which was Sociology, where we really got to talk to each other since we were pretty much forced to do so : ) Hmm and yeah, we kinda set seating for that class so yeah, and the girl nxt to me is pretty alright & friendly;] but alas a ring she wears which means *pfft..heheh : P

Hmm and yeah the other class luckily there was someone from work in there too so yeah that was pretty alright. We decided to join the gym club nxt week hahah, plus they have a snowboarding and skiing event at the end of the month so might as well make the most of the "fun" weather right? So I figure I should probably be hmm okay in the next month or so yea. Though I have this feeling that.. hmm NYP was sorta more on making friends > study...I kinda feel that the case will be the other way around this time.

But to be honest, the sch material is really good.. All the lecturers have phDs:) And hmm one thing I can surmise from all of them they... well it seems everyone in Canada smokes pot hahah. Hmm and yeah I like the Philosophy classes, mind-blowing stuff hahah :) Right now taking a class on Reality & Existence.. And well there's huge study on Greek Mythology , which I love :), and yeah the class really did open my mind on things. And studying Philosophy is different too, in the sense that all our academic lives we were taught that getting the answer was the most important thing whether it was Maths or Biology. But here, it was all about asking the right questions yea :)

Also, hahah wow Chinese New Year is actually on the 1st month of the year for I think the 1st time that I can recall in my life.. Well most definitely going to check out Richmond since that's pretty much the go-to place for Chinese thingies. I reckon they'll have something up .

Well not much to update other than this, the rest is bleh.. Hmm well I finally started to cashier at my work place in the Dollar Store, hmm ... I also noticed that everything here seems to be stuck 30 moments ago in the past. I mean the internet literally took a few months to get up, and argh.. the laptop I want has been out of stock for awhile. That and I've been behind on lotsa things I was supposed to send out for Xmas hahah..

Hmm plans for the year... Saving up for a return trip of course heheh , and yeah before they shave their heads and everything... but yeah realized it's true that most of the ppl are guys in the clques hahah ... Also hopefully a trip this year to London with Nadia. I mean both of us came from a place in South East Asia that most of the world has never heard of.. OKay forget the world, even in Singapore it was pretty much unknown too. But here we are in a extraordinary situation where we can both actually go to London on our power and you know.. damn it, if we're not going to take adavantage of it right? Yeah hahah it's good that it's cheap for her to head there too since she's over in Lithaunia and flying there for me is only 180 yea. So yeah, try to go there and massacre the Cockney ppl yea? That's great... never thought we could do this considering where we came from heheh : ) That's bout the only solid plus I can realy say about ere now... Everything else is just a blur... Hmm well I know I could be happy here given the time, but I'm not sure it would ever be as good as it was back then yea. I was really happy .. but yeah .. shit happens... Well thats how things have pretty much been for the new year... things are still crawling along. Anyway I'm sure the year will get better yea.. All is one afterall ;)

Today.... was actually the first sunset of the year : ) ... The sun had pretty much been on hiatus through the whole new year.. Finally today was lucky enough to catch some streaks of red in the sky... I have missed the sun... I am so over Winter now... I long for Spring to roll right over Winter's lethargic ass yea : ) Cheers? :)
