Cheers Beers :)

Well not much cept well hey hmm yesterday was Su's 21st bday :)
dammit.. I really wished I could have been back home at least for that yea.. It's been sometime since I thought about KK yea... We've all been busy.. plus I'm leaving Sg soon... so trying to focus on here a bit... After I leave Sg, I'll be in KK for 2 weeks before going to Canada.. So yeah I know it will be full circle when I get back home yea..

Well from I guess I learned with all this long distance -post high school life that ... distance does change the status-quo for friendships a bit yea... And well your best friends.. there are different ways to deal with the distance with them...

You've got your best friend who exemplifies friendship-he messages you every week just to see how things are going. You feel like you never left home...he still knows everything about you, and even over the Internet can tell when something is wrong. He teaches you that distance doesn't have to change a friendship at all. I feel that this to AeA to some extent.. we do keep in touch yea.. I'm glad we try to even though sometimes now it will be harder to find topic to chat since the distance yea but I'm glad he tries yea :)

Then of course, there is your other best friend. He rarely calls or writes and he doesn't do the email thing. At times you think he has forgotten about you...until you hear from him. You hear from him for the first time in almost six months-and nothing has changed. You are still you and he is still him --even though you never talk you are as close as ever, you are still the best of friends. You find yourself expressing just how much you're going to miss him -- because you realize it now more than ever. He teaches you that true friends are friends in the soul...separation can never tear them apart. And yeah this applies to Su to me... I don't hear from him much.. maybe once in a few months? But I always never find it a problem to close the gaps of time & distance apart between us.

Thanks for being such a great friend.. all the way since I was making fun of you when you were in"F4" hahaha... I would have never knew back then I would find one of my best friends yea...Alot of stuff since those days ;) but I'm glad we never doubted our friendship even after the move lol. It's not easy to find a friend like you haha so yea Thanks & cheers dude!
Happy 21st birthday Su:)

Well for last night.. I was let go early from work around 8 since nobody was eating there much... so yeah I worked 5 to 8.. so damn lame hahah. I guess CA's business is going to crap now hahah.

Well I slacked ard fer a bit until around 930-ish went to meet Hazel & Xuan Hong ( both were working at Suntec: ) , for some dinner at Pastamania yea lol.

Well after we sent XH off, then we met Ivan and went to Pennisula to take a bus on the way back lol.. but yeah Hazel said it was a bit early to go back.. so me & Ivan were joking around to go the pub nearby lol.. And yeah hahah cool that she wanted to go too hahaha. Well yeah toold her how it hmm was.. during 1st year of NYP.. at New Year's eve when it was just me & Ivan... because that time we were the only two that always went out yea.. so after the fireworks we waking home.. Halfway I heard some guitar strumming and a familar voice singing... I knew it was definitely the Unxpected so yeah we went in and had a few drinks lol... Long time ago lol..

Anyway we found the place, Timbre the same way like last time lol.. by the sound of guitar strumming and singing lol. Well yeah haha just as nice as we remembered.. We sat in front of the band & well looked through the menu to see what drinks to get... Well I ordered a S'pore Sling, Ivan went with Tequila Sunrise.. Hazel got Paradise: )
The Singapore Sling..
Well tasted like Kool-Aid and really sweet.. not very powerful yea lol : ) Ivan's 1 tasted a bit like Orange Juice and Hazel's 1 wasnt that good.. and was also served in a smaller glass lol.. our logic being that Paradise cant last forever lol :)

Anyway yeah well we were just enjoying the ambiance of Timbre yea .. It was dimly let, quiet silent but yeah that sounds like a closed library but yeah it was different.. felt really easy to lay back and talk with your friends kinda place.. So yeah hahah hope someday they will go to here or Wala Wala at Holland V yea :)

Well I liked the band singer's voice.. tho it wasnt Shiryln but yeah she was really good too : ) Plus they had Rene from Unxpected on the accoustic guitar :)
I requested for Bic runga's Sway :) & they played it .. It's a beautiful song bout hmm crushes and stuff.. really nice lyrics too... Well it was awesome hahah : ) I really love the live versions better... plus they played Worn me down by Racheal Yamagata after that which was definitely a bonus yea.. Here's a cover that does it justice :D
After that song we went back yea lol :)

On the way back we passed by Geylang.. which well was full of durian stalls.. and then it kinda struck me as thats why there were so many prostitutes at Geylang.. Dirty can be smelly's best friend so yeah they both quite... gam lol..

Hmm yeah we were supposed to switch bus at Hazel's stop but then we were too late so in the end took a cab yea.. Well hmm hahah we thought it was nice, since we were all working same area.. could do this again sometime hahah.. maybe next time at Clarke Quay since Ivan worked there yea lol : )Cheers!

After that had a nice hmm.. "trash talk" until the wee hours of the morning lol :) Well yeah hmm good chat & hope things get better for all of us yea lol :)
