Some Kind Of Resolve

Hmm well hey finally decided to clear the cobwebs here.. this is a pretty huge long and windy post as it has to do with 1 long huge week yea :D
There was quite alot going on , definitely the most eventful week yea :)

Reflections: Days Gone By

Hmm 1st day was after well ... Anyway I was still pretty down but yeah had to go for the orientation camp , and glad I finally got to go for 1 yea :D Well I was teamed up with Reswan & Hazel:D , anyway our OGLs were almost named Bimbo Bombastica, but changed to Momo nono . Great team yea :D Fun being with them too :)






Really?

There was a moment at the end of the 1st day when we were all having a briefing with mr.calvin .. and I spotted the new batch of OGLs playing the 5x5 square jumping game by themselves... hahah.. For me to see a new group of people who just met & were together so fast...It really felt like a torch was passed, and at last there was new batch of SIDM family yea :)

The last day was the most hectic since we were helping out with their banner and yet we were also rushing for the chalet that we still had on that night.. Well on the bus to there the mood was really tense for awhile for some of us... We discussing about the new batch of OGLs but the truth was there was still quite a bit of problems with ours... Plus I was worried cause it was near 12,the BBQ was turning into a private gathering.. We made them wait very long yea.

Well something happened a bit before that.. at McDs... a happenstance... Danke?...

Happenstance: Crash Into You

Well on the bus there we were pretty tired out yea but yeah soon frustration gave way to laughter and by the time we reached there, things were alright again yea:D It was around 11 by the time we saw Alvin at the bus stop yea: )

Hmm wow it was an awesome place...A bungalow yea :) There was the Weeeeeeeeee :) upstairs
yea. Hmm well yeah it was nice just chilling with friends yea & talking crap hahah..
1st night was drinking but only had a few glasses yea since I didn't want to start WW III ... Though there was some very high friends.. lets just keep the names to those who were there yea :) wo0oo0o! :)

Well 1st night I was coughing badly so I slept downstairs yea ;P
The next day.. we went to get Bobo's b'day prezzie and then over to "O" school to dance it up. Then back to Downtown East with Ivan to get Bobo's Cake.. hmm DownTown East changed a bit and it was kinda weird ... casue most chalets we would walk past here alot but it was the only on the 2nd night that went over here yea. Well after getting the cake, Ivan had to leave for JB and I walked to the chalet..Hmm I was lost for an hour through the park looking for the chalet.. Well I was kinda lost geographically and also in my thoughts too since I was still down yea lol..

When I reached every1 was pretty much upstairs with the PS3 with Rock Band :) Which was the event of the night yea.. It was loads of fun singing along to the songs yea lol :)
Three Alarm Pants!


After awhile we crashed the MG's BBQ yea :) hahah tho I think we kinda took over their chalet for a bit yea lol since we outnumbered them hahah. After some food went back to the chalet to meet Han Ming to bring him to the BBQ.. Hahah we ended up never returning to the BBQ since we were all enjoying Rock Band hahah :D

And well we also celebrated Bobo's 20th bday! Big Bobo .. glad he came and haha he lost some weight too lol.. Yeah there was some cream smearing but no cakesmashing hahah:D
After that we watched 200 pound beauty lol.. And well I think only 2-4 people actually stayed up to see it. I almost slept 3/4 in but I wanted to watch the hmm movie I had missed last time yea and well yeah I've said it before.. but I think perhaps the Golden Age Of the SIDM family was when well.. actually I wasn't a part of it but they were all very close around the time this movie came out. I remembered every1 playing that "Ave Maria" song & it kind of annoyed me but there and then I could sense the real bond between them.. I mean almost every lunch break they would eat tgt at South Canteen yea :D Hmm it was a glorious time I think..

The next morning, after returning from church. Some of us; Cong Zheng, Hazel, Jake, and Zhi Feng went for a beach run :) It was a beautiful day yea..

Hmm wished I brought my swimming clothes.. The beach and sea was very inviting... It was pretty simple but it was just nice goofing around with them and drawing up crap on the sand hahah. Kind of reminded me of Karumbunai yea :)


Mat Selamat's BBQ!

Hmm after that we went back to the chalet and we watched Imagination Land and waited until the rest came back yea :D It was the last chalet night for most of us yea.. well anyway Zhi Feng was buried under stack of pillows and a mattress. He was a pretty heavy sleeper I guess lol.

Well hmm well when most of us got back we were in the room and I'm not sure what happened but things ended up with a huge pillow fight and many gay tau poks hahah. It was uber stupid fun hahah :)

Well after that, we decided to live a bit and have a water balloon fight.. Perhaps it was the OGL camp but some of us just wanted to have some dumb fun tgt hahah. And well hahah it was like 20 mins of filling balloons and 4 minutes of water balloon tossing hahah. Using the super soaker and also running around stupidly was fun.

In between these two events.. there was a moment of pure fun.. Yeah I spammed the word fun but it really was because... we all didnt felt like this for a long long time :) it was just good for us ;)

The chalet overall.. the last official FU event I guess was awesome :D
It didn't feel so much like a chalet with every1 going back home and coming back.. I mean.. who goes home & come back to a chalet?.. what it felt .. was like we were a SIDM family living together for a few days yea :D It was sweet :D The funnest chalet ever yea!

Resolutions: Between Order and Randomness

Well from the chalet we had to rush back via cab to school for the AV duty... I have to admit I felt like it was pretty dumb yea since well some of us like Ivan did this last year & had to do it again this year ya.. 1st day was so tiring.. was wishing I was back at the chalet hahah :)

Later on heard about the chalet people, they were evicted from the place.. felt bad for CZ and have to give it him for being such a nice guy about the whole thing.. 1st off for being so late.. I was scared since he was there with just a few ppl, and was waiting for the lot of us which arrived waaaay late.. but he was still having a poker face with that and being a great host.. Yeah, the chalet would not have been possible without him and Cyn. Kudos and props to them when we stayed up planning it up late yea: ) thnx to both of them :D

Well AV duty was pretty boring, staying in the AV room the almost the whole afternoon lol. 1st night watched , ZF,Clarence,Ivan and me watched the 3 Kingdoms which was boring hahah. Ivan and Clarence fell asleep through the movie hahah.. The movie had a baby that got saved, that grew up to be a retard and a prince which caused the fall of that dynasty and also we respected Guan Yu after the movie hahah XD

The next day.. was still tired despite having good sleep lol. Hmm in the morning went to trade some music with Hazel & Han Ming yea :)

After AV duty, we were still in a buzz about some lame ghost thing that we thought we saw. Gathered alotta of them and we went to check it out lol. Though it turned out to be a stupid glitch in the light system lol hahah.

After that we played some games with Hazel and Cyn playing the Rock,Paper,Scissors and Slap game:) which caught on with a few of them lol.. ... plus .. some of us tried to infiltrate the ranks of the freshies and fool the ogls in which they succeeded.. especially in the case of 1 Han Ming hahah. They even included him in their performance hahah XD

The next day, hmm it was their last day yea. Well it was pretty much standard AV Duty but cept for Hazel came over hahah and helped out yea lol:) We had a pretty nice chat while I screwed up some of the lights lol. Hmm never really had a nice deep convo other than other our interests with her so yeah it was nice talking about SIDM friends and also how all of us met and stuff:)

After the event we went down to the stage and all of us were still on a natural high I guess :D Took loads of pics and goofed around hahah. We were all at the stage with the new ogls and of old.. A few of us Han Ming, Daryl, Hazel and me sang alotta songs together yea.. it was nice having this kinda bond hahah :D Took loads of pics with every1 ... the mood and atmosphere was very high and positive overall lol:D

After that went out and most of them headed to AMK while Han Ming and I met up with Ber..Well majority of them were at Suki Sushi yea. I went to go get my pay while they went to play pool lol. I joined them later and then we all went back after that...

Well at the end of the night, Ber said something that I felt was very true . She said this group change very fast.. And when I look at this week as of a whole... friends changing around, circumstances changing with new people coming into our lives.. What a week...

I guess seeing the new batch of OGLs versus us really put things in perspective... I saw them... and I had to admit I was a bit jealous.. they had a long year ahead to have fun & get to know each other.. When I look at us now.. sometimes I wonder where we went wrong... How did we ever fall through the cracks to become like this... Now's it's kinda lame to keep track of who's not on good terms with who now.. and who's okay with who before calling every1 out..

I kinda wished every1 could just not take for granted that we're not always going to be together.. I mean after NS I'm sure circumstances will change again.. Haiz... it kinda made me a bit hmm tired of the state of things with the SIDM family...I just wished we weren't so petty yea.. that we would just come together and be the group of friends we used to be.. And no I don't think I'm being too naive or foolish here... I think it is possible.. Its just ego and pride that will prevent this yea.. I mean if we all could just accept each other's problems it would be easy..

Nobody's perfect but I really believe we're all innately good people so if we not overlook but accept each others faults than we could be the family we used to be yea :D Its when I saw them , the new batch.. that I remembered that not so long ago, every1 was so glad to be friends with each other yea. I wonder when we'll be able to go back to that time yea...

Resolve: There It Was...

The next day well.. OGL Camp was over.. but we were still meeting up for some KBox singing yea :D Went Kbox with Cong Zheng,Han Ming,Cyn,Zhi Feng,Hazel, Jeff, Clar,Yong Yi :)
After some happy-slapping at the MRT we went to McD's for some breakfast.. But haiz we were too late for the breakfast menu and thus no McGriddles for us lol

We had loads of fun ...Hmm this venture actually was a bit different since I felt majority of the songs were English and well I think err we kinda hogged the mic >.<... Anyway it was fun singing around with friends & yeah we even sang the squirting queen song XD Hmm plus english songs were damn loud .. all of us were singing/shouting i think lol.. Hmm Jeff was really imba but hmm it didn't feel like it was a friend that sang well with us, it felt so hmm haha imba till the point it was like hmm that's professional standard yea lol

After that some of us split up, a few of us stayed at Chinatown & slacked around looking for a watch yea lol :) Hmm well after seeing CZ off to work we went back to school yea. Well it was the seniors vs the juniors in shooting hoops but I think we lost yea :P After that we had dinner at MOS burger yea :)

Hmm there was one part while walking to McDs after dinner(*yeah... we had nothing to do hahah) that I thought was quite nice.. Well there was these two new OGLs that were with us, and throughout the whole night we thought they were together yea.

And well we were walking behind them and we started wondering if there was anything going on between them. So I said perhaps they were together, lovers maybe? She said it was possible that they were best friends too yea.. I then added.. 1of the was in DET & the other was in DMD.. After that comment... I stopped and I think both of us just realized the pure irony of the situation. There it was, it was just very much an allusion to well yea :).. and actually well hahaha we made note of it too.. we were both glad we were good friends :) I think it was great and ironic in the end, it was her that cleared up my head from the darkness yea when she told me I was 1 of her best friends, it just made understood. And yeah suddenly things weren't so complicated anymore yea :D I thought this scene was a very beautiful moment for me and also a nice ending to this little episode... It was very full circle to the things that went on during the holidays.

So yeah what a holiday yea? ;) Cheers:D

EPILOUGUE: Life As It Is

Well it's now 3 weeks later after that... Yes holiday is over.. And well these days we are into the Final Year yea... Back to school yea. Hmm sch life is pretty slack for now yea:) Hmm we still keep in touch with the new batch of OGLs too:)

Hmm and well like karma is... actually suddenly my well New Year's Resolution suddenly seems to well.. have a chance .. Things weren't like before but I think we both are working on it yea.. Glad to at least be able to chat with her again.. I didn't expect her to make an initiative to patch up the gap and time lost between us, so yeah that surprised me. Right now my well heart still hasn't 100% let down my guard around her. I just don't know how to feel in those kinda situations where you get over this person but suddenly they come back in to your lives.. Granted, both of us knew that things weren't like before as it was a long time since we were close.. But yeah I'm still shell shocked about the sudden effort but yeah, honestly it would be nice to have that escape from the world's infinite failing and stupidity. It's still a bitter pill to swallow but .. there's hope and one day we'll might just make it back yea..

Hmm anyway today we had fun, it was Theo's 19th b'day yea :D.. 1st most of us met up at Blk M yea.. Dragged retard along since yeah it's been awhile since he had a life right? Well we had dinner at some Chinese restaurant at AMK HUB and well after that?... why... we went to .. HIPPOS!

Well our table we were playing Jungle Speed in which hahah Cyn was owning lol: ) The other table had Dirty Minds going on yea which well the underdog tag team of Trudy & Theodora saw them as the victorious team to emerge against the dirtiest minds yea :)

And so at last, it came to pass that I finally made it to Hippos :) And at there, were many wonderful unique games to behold and to be played there. And so unto 3 separate tables we split to, as we had our bountiful fun. Twas tis very night the very elusive Hippo was conquered.Yes, Hippos... :) Yes:)!!!

Anyway glad that Theo enjoyed herself yea:D Well yeah a nice night out :) And honestly I think well yeah we are making some headway & progress, everything seems to be at peace in the SIDM clique so yeah I think we have a good chance of making it back yea :D
