1st week of 08

Hmm well finally got my pc back yea lols :D
Anyway hmmm 1st week of the year was pretty sweet yea. Went shopping with Ber,Trudy,Cyn,Ivan & Jake around Bugis yea. Hmm hahah shopping wth girls takes damnnn long yea hahahs. Well after that went fer dinner at Pastamania before heading back home yea.

Then on Friday went to catch this obscure movie called Across the Universe ya. Hmm its this musical(nothing like Hairspray or High School Musical, more on the lines of Moulin Rouge) about the 60s which I consider to be 1 of the last few eras were free speech was so important. You had the war going on and people rallying together against it all across America. Can't imagine people dropping their jobs & defending their ideals like that in modern times yea. Anyway this movie was about that plus it was wrapped & inspired by music from The Beatles so yeah it was pretty sweet.



Well anyway yeah it was Friday after school but hmm most of them were going over to eat sushi or watch Vexille so yeah in the end only Hazel wanted to check the movie out yea. Well at least got kaki to watch hahas :D Well after school went over to Cineleisure & luckily we made it in time to get some good seats too ya. Hmm bah haha it was fun movie & even better since I was watching with a bonafide pop culture expert so yeah haha we could spot most of the stuff the movie was referencing yea. Hmm haha even Bono from U2 made a cameo too plus Joe Crocker. Hmm hahah fave character was this wacky lesbian named Prudence that really popped out of anywhere. One scene she's marching with the rebels & the next time you see her she's on a donkey /zebra in a zoo.

Hmm hahah well heres my fave song in the movie, Hey Jude yea~ It looks gay for a guy to serenade to another guy but yeah hahah its a nice scene yea :) The peak of the song near the middle & its really great :)

Well any1 who wants a different kinda movie , I definitely recommend yea :)

Well anyway it was a nice night so far & yeah it was fun watching the trippy movie with her since talking & making fun of things during the movie wasnt taboo to her too ya lols, well after the movie we went back went. It was getting bit late so she went back & hmm looked for the rest over at Hougang ya. Hmm while waiting my head was on the fritz & needed to take some Panadol but I hadnt ate so haha bought a donut before getting some quick help for my head. Well just after that met them yea hahas. Owh and hahah we even met up with Han Ming, Theo, & Cong Zheng yea who was watching Vexille & came to Hougang on the way home lols.Well hahah alot were wondering what to do with the night, it was Friday & most of us didnt want to go back so early so... after crossing the same road between the interchange & Hougang Central 6times lols!, we decided to go KBox yea hahahs. Hmm yeah it was Ber,Zhi Feng, Jake, Clarence & Ivan going ya. Hmm hahah even met Rave who was working there yea lols.

Hmm well hahah it was a fun night with hmm ....there was Ivan & Ber looking for songs from yesteryear as in songs from dad's time lols. Hmm ZF also chose a song called Hotel California.. The song held much of talk with its just plain creepy lyrics.

Last thing I remember, I was running for the door,
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before,

Hmm well after that was insipred to dig up the hmm deep,intricate background of the song yea.
Of course the most famous urban legend of the song is that if you rewind you can hear some kind of devil chanting or sumthing. Hmm never heard it but ZF vouches for it yea.

Yes the song still gives me the creeps. The 1 thing ZF & I agreed on was that all the English songs in Kbox had videos that were freaking creepy. I mean it's always nothing to do with the song & instead always focusing on girls from the 70s. And it's like 3 minutes of some sicko shooting a video about some girl laughing and smiling. Basic human response to seeing people happy is well feeling happy too but seeing them laughing at the screen , it wasnt so much like they were laughing happily & you wanting to join in but rather... they knew something that we didnt know.Perhaps the scariest thing is that who would make videos like this? I mean it's alright if its just 1 but just what kinda dumbass thought it would be a good idea to make videos like this & mass produce them too since all the MVs were just the same yea. Anther theory was that it was probably porn & well 1 song I choose really had 1 such sick MV video hahahs.Either way its damn eerie and not hot whatsoever lols.

Right anyway haha hmm after the fun night of singing we went over to McDs to crash & talk bout the usual stuff hahah well until 1st bus yea. Hmm yeah long & fun day yea lols.

On Saturday, went to meet up Nigel who yeah like Ian, I hadn't seen in elephant years too haha. Hmm the 1st thing that caught me completely offguard was his Ozzy accent haha. Cool lols. Hmm but yeah then I remember he was there fer quite some time too lols. We found a quiet place & he ordered Hoegarden & me? 7up, I was broke hahas. Yeah... hahha it was nice catching up with him too & just talking about some names that hadnt been in my conversations since very long ago. I mean hmm it predates Sg & even All Saints yea, it was nice hearing where & how most of the Srs gang was doing yea. Hmm yeah ... there was 1 part he said we were all over leading different lives & he said me as 1 of the guys... You know hadnt put myself in the same group of them since I hmm betrayed MN hence the email name, but it was nice hearing that yeah to have a friend from childhood remind me that I was. Yeah nice night looking back on especially at the begining of the year yea lols. Ryte after the drink we went back since it was late & he had to catch the flight back in the morning. Yeah nice seeing him after hmm since Form 4 I guess yea lols. Well yeah haha it was pretty gud start for the year yea :D
