~Missing Moments~

Wel hmm yeah, 1st day of the 1nd half of the year ...

Well holidays were over and back into school yea , neway holiday had loads of assignments which was a dumbass idea, I mean 5 assignments during the holidays for 2 weeks, is madness yea lols.

Neway well joined kickboxing club finally hahaha =) I have to say the training was quite hardcore, hahah 100 situps =) Hmm well always wanted to learn sum sort of martial arts and kickboxing seems very modern ya. Well neway met a bunch of new ppl and made a few new friends dere, well I dont want to quit this CCA half way thru like the others yea

Besides that, during the 1st few days of the returning week , most of the SIDM members were at the ticket booth gettin orders for the tickets for our 1st event, Transformers, organised by us, well mostly Benjamin hahah. Hmm 1st day we hit 60 /150 tickets. Well we decided since we couldnt get most of our freshies to join, we decided to sell the tickets to every1 we knew, even beyond NYP. Neway it was nice hanging out with them at the booth yea, that itself wasnt boring and was actually quite nice yea =)

Anyway on the day of the event, it got a bit chaotic when we had 150 tickets to organise and making sure that every1 who paid got ders tis time... Esp round 15 mins before the movie, every1 was coming and Clarence had to make sure there would be no more messed-up crap for our 1st event under our year's run over the SIDM council club yea. Neway we managed to get everything settled before the movie actually, thanks to Clarence, Jing Long & Vincent yea.

After that we crashed the popcorn stand with 150 orders of free popcorn + a drink lols, they had to send the orders an hour later into the movie act hahah. Well hmm alot of people came , frankly I think this year our circle of friends in Poly probably tripled hahah, with people from POS, OGL,our own CCAs and also our new classes yea =)

Well it was nice seeing friends coming just to relax, I mean Alvin wasnt wearing formal lols,
yeah also met Que Lyn & Weng Lok during the ticket passin yea. It was nice that they came to support us, she had her exams ( which btw the JC notes are just insane! 2-2.5feet high? I dont know whether to scream or cry if I was in JC lols) & they're both from different schools. Anyway after going around finding ppl & intro friends to friend who was friendly enough to meet ppl =) After tat we went in to see the movie. Hmm sat around WengLok,some of the 04 ppl,QueLyn,MrPresident & also nxt to my old class , DET 01 =) .. hmm well realised I hadnt really had a chance to go out with them since the 2nd year started, I guess between the business of Orientation for the freshies, new modules and me adjusting in the new class, I hadnt got a chance to just go out with them much. It was nice =)

Well hmm the movie.. I set my expectations really low but the 1st hour was pretty damn good hahah =) The 1st hour was like a Herbie-meets-Gundam movie yea =) And hahah the movie promoted so many cars, some scenes felt like a car commercial with the camera being in front of the car brand then a side shot of the car, then back to brand =) I thought that the comedy would be a dumb idea to put into transformers but most of the humour was pretty funny. The EFX was insane, viscerally amazing, easily the best EFX ina long time, better then anything this year, visual sensory overload at times too hahah =)

Neway yeah, it was nice in the cinema wen you looked around there was a familar face nearby... This was easily 1 of the biggest gatherings during DET, it was a nice throwback to Year 1 where we always used to go out to either AMK or Grassroots for bowling... Our circle of friends didnt really leave DET, but I remember when meeting 04 ; it felt like a big thing too since we werent same class & sch work hadnt become homicidal yet, I remember our class trying to win the 04s in either football or basketball but got trashed in bball, futball not so bad & hey I felt if we trained more we could beat them back haha, hmm havent played bball wid dem since 2nd year too ... I remember trying to break the ice between 01 & 02 without much success but at least we got close with 04 yea =) I remember thinking in Year 1 with Ivan that we couldnt wait to work with DMD for the 2nd/3rd year project since we would get to meet more ppl, and hahah get a gf mebe ;well yeah tat sounds desperate but DET has a a guy: girl ratio of lyk 8:2... neway 1 of us got to that goal eh? And much earlier den tat project too yea =)

Well after the movie ended, every1 had something good to say, and hahah saw the Vincent in front, hmm I think we all genuinely enjoyed the movie.. Well saw him & we sed how awesome the movie was, I also sed congrats since our 1st event was a success! I tot tat was kickass hahah =) Sed our goodbyes to those leavin off and thanks for coming yea before gg for dinner. Dinner was also a nice sight, we went in and took like 6-7 tables hahah =) Anyway I know movies arent normally events that deserve that much talk but really enjoyed that night & had fun. Despite our separated classes, it was nice to see us hanging out again yea =) I dunno but I felt like it was a nice celebration of the all the friends we made since joining our course in a way =)

Well neway... hmm things back home... Long distance friendships are hard.. yeah I know I've must have sed tat to death but sometimes I feel well like I could tell them about my friends over here & they could tell me theirs but sometimes it just seems like it wouldn't matter since I dont think they're ever going to meet... I also find that limits the things I have to talk with my friends overseas... It's like the only time we really get to talk is when something happens & we need each other... Things just start to get dry when every conversation seems like we're doing orite, yeah maybe thats the truth, but I dont know it feels very generic yea... But yeah my best friends are at KK after all, I know distance severs bonds, sure we wont get to relate in somethings but I miss them . I miss having them around my life, instead of relying on MSN or the phone to talk with them. Hmm neway Im working all tat 2nd KK return trip post tat well has been in limbo since april but yeah it'll come out ... I realised alot of things on that trip, being a year away from home, why I wanted to leave KK last time, and also how the real only absolute truth that I knew when I left was that I would miss them all dearly yea... Alrite I'll get to it soon enuf yea =)
